We thought that telling our story would be easy since we have been telling it for so long, but after brainstorming and searching google for “writing about us” we realized we were stuck. It wasn’t that we didn’t have anything to say, it was that we had so much to say. We can’t explain who we are or where we came from without telling the story of our founders, Dave and Cindy Casey.

Their story is why we believe in what we do, why we are always looking for a better solution and why we care the way we do, for our clients. It is their values, their dedication and their integrity that built Greystone Specialties in 1985.

Dave and Cindy Casey mentored each and every one of us, not only in business, but also in our personal lives. Everyone is treated like family and for the Casey's, It has always been about family!

After welcoming their 2nd daughter, Dave realized that they needed a financial change, so he started a new job selling business forms in 1976. It wasn’t long before Dave became frustrated with his new employer, as his sales were increasing , so were the relationships with his clients. He saw the value in growing with your clients and offering new solutions, his employer did not. It wasn’t long before Dave and Cindy opened their own print shop, Phoenix Marketing. Cindy served as president and oversaw operations while Dave continued to sell. They stayed true to their mission and Phoenix’s services began expanding, growing with each client’s needs. The Casey’s saw the value in having everything under one roof and eventually went from printing business forms to a full-service marketing communications provider. After recognizing an industry shift in 2012, Dave and Cindy decided to sell Phoenix Marketing. The difficult decision to sell wasn’t for their benefit, they sold Phoenix because they had a better solution for their clients and that solution was Greystone Specialties. Greystone’s main service was promotional products until Dave and Cindy leveraged less overhead and added print, design, fulfillment, warehousing and direct mail to Greystone’s resume. This switch was easy for them knowing that it would benefit both, their client’s and their team. Retiring became the hard part and still is today. Dave is still mentoring the business and even does his infamous doughnut drop to our clients. Today, the Greystone Team has managed to persevere through the challenges and remain dedicated to going above and beyond for each and every project. The team will continue to grow with each client, To find the right solution for each project, and to always be looking for a better solution for their clients. After all, we have a reputation to honor!
